\u00a0Mein Leben vor der Behandlung:<\/h2>

\u201eIch habe immer ein aktives Leben gef\u00fchrt\u201c\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Ich habe mein Leben lang Sport gemacht: Fu\u00dfball, Tennis, Joggen, Radfahren. Ich war immer aktiv und leistungsorientiert \u2013 Sport musste anstrengend sein, sonst war es f\u00fcr mich kein Sport. Doch mit der Zeit wurde ich immer kurzatmiger.<\/p>

Mein gesamtes Arbeitsleben war ich bei der\u00a0Bundespolizei. Es war mein Traumjob, und ich war sehr zufrieden, auch wenn mich die Krankheit\u00a0im Laufe der Zeit an den Schreibtisch gebracht hat.\u00a0Privat\u00a0habe ich meinen Sohn als Alleinerziehender gro\u00dfgezogen. Ich hatte ein gutes, erf\u00fclltes Leben.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Diagnose COPD \u2013\u00a0der schleichende Verlust der Luft\u00a0<\/h2>

2012 wurde bei mir COPD diagnostiziert, als ich pl\u00f6tzlich richtig schlecht Luft bekam.\u00a0Ein richtiger Anfall.\u00a0Schwere Atemnot, selbst beim Anziehen.\u00a0Mein Hausarzt erkannte sofort, was los war:\u00a0\u201eDa hast du dir ja etwas Sch\u00f6nes eingefangen.\u201c\u00a0Eine unheilbare Krankheit, die\u00a0sich kontinuierlich verschlechtern wird.\u00a0Der einzige Rat: das\u00a0Rauchen aufzugeben, dann wird es langsamer schlechter. Ich hatte zuvor noch nie von COPD geh\u00f6rt und habe die Diagnose zun\u00e4chst untersch\u00e4tzt.\u00a0<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Gro\u00dfe Einsicht oder eine Ver\u00e4nderung meiner Lebensgewohnheiten brachte das nicht. Ich rauchte weiter \u2013 schlie\u00dflich war ich ja ohnehin schon krank. In den ersten Jahren habe ich kaum Einschr\u00e4nkungen bemerkt und vieles auf das \u00c4lterwerden geschoben. Erst 2019 kam es zu einer schweren Exazerbation. Mein Hausarzt schickte mich daraufhin zu einer Lungenfach\u00e4rztin, die mich direkt zur Reha nach M\u00fcnnerstadt \u00fcberwies.<\/p>

Dort habe ich mit dem Rauchen aufgeh\u00f6rt \u2013 von einem Tag auf den anderen. Es war eine reine Kopfsache. Ich hatte jahrzehntelang stark geraucht, aber in der Klinik wurde mir klar, dass ich so nicht weitermachen konnte. R\u00fcckblickend h\u00e4tte ich viel fr\u00fcher aufh\u00f6ren sollen.\u00a0<\/p>

Nach der Reha ging es mir etwas besser, aber insgesamt verschlechterte sich mein Zustand weiter. Ich war regelm\u00e4\u00dfig zur Kontrolle, nahm meine Medikamente, doch die Belastbarkeit nahm stetig ab. W\u00e4hrend der Corona-Pandemie wurde mir dringend geraten, zu Hause zu bleiben. Aufgrund des hohen Risikos ging ich fr\u00fchzeitig in Pension.<\/p>

Ich passte mein Leben zunehmend an: weniger Unternehmungen, weniger soziale Aktivit\u00e4ten. Besonders schmerzhaft war f\u00fcr mich, bei wichtigen famili\u00e4ren Ereignissen \u2013 etwa der Taufe meines Enkels \u2013 nicht dabei sein zu k\u00f6nnen, aus Angst, anderen zur Last zu fallen. Meine Lungenfunktion lag zeitweise unter 25 %. Allt\u00e4gliche Dinge wie Treppensteigen oder Hausarbeit wurden zur Tortur, die permanente Atemnot bestimmte mein Leben. Weitere Therapieoptionen wurden mir nicht aufgezeigt, ich nahm die Krankheit als \u201egottgegeben\u201c hin.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

\u201eWollen Sie so weiterleben?\u201c \u2013 Eine schwere Exazerbation bringt neue Optionen<\/strong><\/p>

Im Mai kam es w\u00e4hrend eines Besuchs bei meinem Sohn in Gera zu einer erneuten schweren Exazerbation. Mein Sohn rief sofort den Notarzt \u2013 r\u00fcckblickend ein Gl\u00fccksfall. So kam ich ins Waldklinikum Gera. Dort stabilisierte man mich zun\u00e4chst medikament\u00f6s.<\/p>

Zum ersten Mal h\u00f6rte ich dort von der M\u00f6glichkeit einer endoskopischen Lungenvolumenreduktion mit Ventilen. Nach weiteren Untersuchungen stellte sich heraus, dass ich grunds\u00e4tzlich daf\u00fcr infrage komme. Nichtraucher war ich schon, aber eine Reha musste vorher nochmals erfolgen.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Da es mir schon so schlecht ging\u00a0war die Reha vor dem Eingriff\u00a0eher belastend.\u00a0Doch kurz darauf kam der\u00a0ersehnte Anruf:\u00a0Ich\u00a0komme f\u00fcr Ventile in Frage \u2013\u00a0mit Termin direkt in der folgenden Woche. Ich hatte keine Angst, im Gegenteil \u2013 ich sah darin meine letzte echte Chance.\u00a0<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Die Behandlung<\/h2>

Der Eingriff \u2013 eine sp\u00fcrbare Ver\u00e4nderung\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Der Eingriff verlief komplikationslos. Schon beim Aufwachen f\u00fchlte ich die Erleichterung, richtig befreit. Zum ersten Mal seit Jahren hatte ich das Gef\u00fchl, wieder Luft zu bekommen. Ich war so begeistert, dass mich die \u00c4rzte selbst wieder einbremsen mussten.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Der Effekt war deutlich. Im 6-Minuten-Gehtest steigerte ich mich von ca. 160 m auf fast 500 m. Die drei Treppenstufen, f\u00fcr die ich fr\u00fcher 5 Minuten brauchte, kann ich wieder hinaufrennen. Alltagst\u00e4tigkeiten sind wieder m\u00f6glich, auch wenn ich Pausen ben\u00f6tige. Jetzt nach dem Eingriff f\u00e4nde ich eine Reha sinnvoll. Meine Medikamente nehme ich nat\u00fcrlich weiterhin. Und einmal im Jahr gehe ich in die Klinik, zur Kontrolle.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Ich bin mir bewusst, dass ich kein gesunder Mensch bin. Die Ventile haben mir keine neuen Lungen gegeben. Aber auf einer Skala von 0 bis 10 bin ich von fast 0 auf etwa 4 oder 5 gekommen \u2013 und das ist f\u00fcr mich ein enormer Gewinn an Lebensqualit\u00e4t.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Mein Leben nach der Behandlung<\/h2>

Es war ein voller Erfolg – Leben mit neuer Perspektive<\/strong><\/p>

Ich nutze weiterhin ein mobiles Sauerstoffger\u00e4t bei Bedarf und als Sicherheit, vor allem unterwegs oder bei Belastung. Es ist auch eine mentale Kr\u00fccke. Manche Dinge bleiben schwierig, Duschen oder Kochen z. B. wegen der D\u00e4mpfe. Dennoch bin ich wieder selbstst\u00e4ndiger und aktiver.<\/p>

Ich habe begonnen, mein Leben zur\u00fcckzuerobern: gehe wieder zum Fu\u00dfball, erledige meinen Haushalt wieder einfacher und kann weiterhin stundenweise im Rathaus arbeiten. Manchmal gehe ich im Haus auch die beiden Stockwerke nach oben \u2013 zum Training und weil ich es wieder kann. Ohne den Eingriff h\u00e4tte ich mein Leben vermutlich auf der Couch verbracht, dahinvegetiert.<\/p>

Besonders wichtig ist mir meine Familie. Mein Sohn hat gro\u00dfe Angst um mich gehabt und ist heute unendlich erleichtert, mich wieder stabiler zu sehen. Mein Enkel gibt mir zus\u00e4tzliche Motivation, aktiv zu bleiben \u2013 auch wenn ich k\u00f6rperlich nicht alles mitmachen kann.<\/p>

Ich h\u00e4tte es nicht geglaubt, dass ich noch einmal in so einem Zustand bin. Wo einem das Leben einfach Spa\u00df macht. Wenn es auf diesem Niveau noch ein paar Jahre bleibt, w\u00e4re ich sehr dankbar.<\/p>

Das kennt doch keiner: Aufkl\u00e4rung als pers\u00f6nliche Mission<\/strong><\/p>

Ich erz\u00e4hle heute jedem von der Ventiltherapie \u2013 Patienten wie \u00c4rzten. Erschreckend viele wissen nichts davon. Noch schlimmer, manche \u00c4rzte raten ohne gute Gr\u00fcnde davon ab. Diese Erfahrung habe ich sowohl in der Reha, als auch bei niedergelassenen \u00c4rzten gemacht. Ich halte das f\u00fcr ein gro\u00dfes Problem und bin froh, dass ich mich davon nicht beirren lie\u00df.<\/p>

Mein wichtigster Rat an andere Betroffene bleibt:\u00a0h\u00f6rt auf zu\u00a0Rauchen!<\/strong>
Ohne das sind weitere Therapien wie die Volumenreduktion ausgeschlossen. Fragt nach und informiert euch, welche Therapieoptionen es noch gibt \u2013 ich wusste ja auch lange nichts davon. Und: man muss die Krankheit annehmen, aktiv bleiben und Chancen nutzen, wenn sie sich bieten.<\/p>

Ergebnisse aus Fallstudien sind nicht unbedingt pr\u00e4diktiv f\u00fcr die Ergebnisse in anderen F\u00e4llen. Die Ergebnisse in anderen F\u00e4llen k\u00f6nnen variieren.<\/p>

Zu den Komplikationen in Verbindung mit dem Zephyr\u00ae-Endobronchialventil k\u00f6nnen u. a. geh\u00f6ren: Pneumothorax, Verschlechterung der COPD-Symptome, H\u00e4moptyse, Lungenentz\u00fcndung, Dyspnoe und in seltenen F\u00e4llen Tod. Das Zephyr Endobronchialventil (EBV) ist ein implantierbares Bronchialventil, das den Luftstrom kontrollieren soll, um die Lungenfunktion bei Patienten mit \u00dcberbl\u00e4hung im Zusammenhang mit einem schweren Emphysem zu verbessern und\/oder Fisteln zu reduzieren. Das Zephyr-Ventil ist kontraindiziert bei: Patienten, bei denen bronchoskopische Verfahren kontraindiziert sind; Patienten mit Hinweis auf eine aktive pulmonale Infektion; Patienten mit bekannten Allergien gegen Nitinol (Nickel-Titan) oder dessen Metallbestandteile (Nickel oder Titan); Patienten mit bekannten Allergien gegen Silikon; aktiven Rauchern. Der Gebrauch ist geschulten \u00c4rzten vorbehalten. Vor dem Gebrauch sind alle weiteren Angaben zu Anwendungsbereichen, Gegenanzeigen, Warnhinweisen, Vorsichtsma\u00dfnahmen und Nebenwirkungen in der Gebrauchsanleitung f\u00fcr das Zephyr Endobronchialventilsystem zu beachten.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Ich merkte, dass ich immer weniger konnte. Ich hatte Probleme beim Atmen, konnte nicht mehr viele Dinge tun und war immer m\u00fcde. Mein Lungenarzt sagte mir, dass ich COPD im 2. Grad h\u00e4tte. Meine Reaktion war: \u201eJa, ist halt so. Nicht so schlimm.\u201c \u2013 und das, obwohl mein Vater mit einer schweren Lungenkrankheit zu k\u00e4mpfen hatte. Einen ziemlichen Knacks bekam meine Gesundheit dann mit einem beruflichen und privaten Schicksalsschlag.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Pl\u00f6tzlich bekam ich keine Luft mehr und keuchte nach 100 Meter \u2013 Diagnose: COPD-Stadium 3 \u2013 mit dem Hinweis \u201eWenn Sie nicht schnell zu Rauchen aufh\u00f6ren, brauchen Sie demn\u00e4chst Sauerstoff und dann sind Sie komplett im Abseits.\u201c Zwischenzeitlich hatte ich u.a. damit begonnen Atemtraining zu machen. Trotzdem habe ich weiter geraucht und die langen N\u00e4chte genossen. Das hatte jedoch ein j\u00e4hes Ende, als ich 2014 pl\u00f6tzlich beim Einkaufen merkte, dass ich nur noch meterweise vorankam und dann per Rettungswagen ins Spital, auf die Intensivstation, eingeliefert werden musste.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Heute kann ich sagen, mein Aufenthalt auf der Intensivstation war die Chance fu\u0308r einen Neuanfang. Allerdings war es schwierig wieder zuru\u0308ckzufinden. Ich konnte kaum noch 10 Meter gehen ohne schwere Atemnot zu bekommen. Und so begann ein langer Weg wieder retour mit Hilfe meiner T\u00f6chter und Freunde, die mich die erste Zeit bei meinen ,,Ausflu\u0308gen\u201d begleiteten \u2013 damit ich auch sicher war, wieder heil zu Hause anzukommen.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- \/module text --> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <div data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_subrow themify_builder_sub_row tf_w col_align_top tb_col_count_1 tb_cby9454\">\n <div data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_column sub_column col-full tb_x7ej455 first\">\n <!-- module divider -->\n<div class=\"module tf_mw module-divider tb_bged263 solid \" style=\"border-width: 1px;border-color: #3095b4;margin-top: 30px;margin-bottom: 30px;\" data-lazy=\"1\">\n <\/div>\n<!-- \/module divider -->\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <div data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_subrow themify_builder_sub_row tf_w col_align_top tb_col_count_2 tb_vpsw837\">\n <div data-lazy=\"1\" class=\"module_column sub_column col3-2 tb_4ziv838 first\">\n <!-- module text -->\n<div class=\"module module-text tb_7i0z360 \" data-lazy=\"1\">\n <div class=\"tb_text_wrap\">\n <h2 class=\"p1\">Mein Leben nach der Behandlung:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Nach diversen gesundheitlichen R\u00fcckschl\u00e4gen und darauf folgenden Interventionen und Korrekturen wurde im Januar 2017 dann die eigentliche Zephyr-Ventil-Implantation im Otto-Wagner-Spital (OWS) in Wien durchgefu\u0308hrt. Drei Monate nach erfolgter Implantation war ich wieder auf einem guten Weg. Urspru\u0308nglich bei 24 % FEV<span class=\"s1\">1\u00a0<\/span>(Einsekundenkapazit\u00e4t beim Ausatmen) vom Soll gestartet, lag mein FEV<span class=\"s1\">1<\/span>-Wert nun bei 36 % \u2013 mit der Tendenz weiter nach oben.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mein COPD-Stadium ist seitdem von 4 auf 3 heruntergestuft worden und ich kann wieder ohne Ersch\u00f6pfung spazieren gehen, meine allt\u00e4glichen T\u00e4tigkeiten erledigen und viel sch\u00f6ne Zeit mit meinen Kindern und meinem Enkel verbringen. Ich schaffe sogar die 1.000 m in mein Fitnessstudio wieder zu Fu\u00df, langsam zwar \u2013 aber aus eigener Kraft. Dies klappt aber nur, da das Training fu\u0308r mich zu einer lebensbegleitenden T\u00e4tigkeit geworden ist \u2013 bis heute. Die Einnahme auf mich abgestimmter Medikamente, eine gesunde Ern\u00e4hrung und viel Liebe und Begleitung \u2013 auch durch \u00c4rzte & Therapeuten \u2013 sind weitere wichtige Faktoren. Da ich auch anderen COPD-Patienten Mut und Zuversicht geben m\u00f6chte, habe ich im Januar 2017 meinen eigenen Blog\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mycopd-blog.com\/2019\/10\/16\/auf-den-spuren\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">myCOPD-blog.com<\/a>\u00a0ins Leben gerufen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Aus denselben Gru\u0308nden habe ich mich auch meiner pers\u00f6nlichen Herausforderung gestellt, die 343 Stufen auf den Stephansdom in Wien hinaufzusteigen. Dies habe ich am 21. November 2018 nach langem und gezielten Training erfolgreich geschafft. Durch diese Aktion konnte ich der Krankheit COPD eine Stimme geben \u2013 mit \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigender Resonanz. Am 20. Das Zephyr\u2010Ventil ist kontraindiziert bei: Patienten, bei denen bronchoskopische Verfahren kontraindiziert sind; Patienten mit Hinweis auf eine aktive pulmonale Infektion; Patienten mit bekannten Allergien gegen Nitinol (Nickel\u2010Titan) oder Metallbestandteile (Nickel oder Titan); Patienten mit bekannten Allergien gegen Silikon; aktiven Rauchern. Auch wenn ich damals aus anderen Gru\u0308nden einen Termin hatte, bekam ich meine Diagnose: COPD im Stadium 3.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">COPD war fu\u0308r mich keine unbekannte Krankheit, bereits mein Vater litt an dieser Lungenerkrankung. Ich hatte aber nie einen Gedanken daran gesetzt, selbst davon betroffen zu sein \u2013 auch wenn ich langj\u00e4hriger Raucher und beruflich Asbest\/Glaswolle ausgesetzt war. Auff\u00e4llig war nur, dass mir das Tragen schwerer Lasten und das Treppensteigen ungew\u00f6hnlich schwer fielen und mich hin und wieder in Atemnot versetzten. Ich schob es auf eine \u00dcberbelastung.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">2008 gab ich meine Arbeit auf und begann an Atemschulungen mit reflektorischer Atemtherapie teilzunehmen, sogenanntem Lungensport. Dort habe ich viele andere Patienten kennengelernt und weitere Einblicke gewinnen k\u00f6nnen, die ein Arzt nicht vermitteln kann. Das hat mich sehr inspiriert, sodass ich heute in einer Selbsthilfegruppe aktiv bin und meine Erfahrungen mit anderen teile. Drei Jahre sp\u00e4ter war dann mein entscheidendes Jahr.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p2\">Die Behandlung selbst:<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Zun\u00e4chst war fu\u0308r mich eine chirurgische Lungenvolumenreduktion angedacht, aber die \u00c4rzte entschieden sich dagegen und schlugen mir das Einsetzen von Ventilen in meine Lungen vor. Ich habe nicht lange nachgedacht und stimmte zu. Kurz danach erhielt ich vier Zephyr-Ventile. Mein K\u00f6rper brauchte etwas Zeit, um sich an die Umst\u00e4nde zu gew\u00f6hnen. Ich bin sehr ehrlich zu mir selbst, ich versuche mich so viel wie m\u00f6glich zu bewegen und fit zu bleiben. Heute sind es drei Stufen, morgen zwanzig.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ich mache so viel wie ich kann und setze mich nicht unter Druck. Eines ist klar: Ich m\u00f6chte trotz meiner Erkrankung auf Nichts verzichten. Mein Leben heute beinhaltet z.B. Lungensport 1x die Woche und jeden Mittwoch Kaffeetrinken mit Freunden. Daru\u0308ber hinaus bin ich sehr aktiv in der Selbsthilfegruppe Leverkusen \u2013 die ich seit 2017 auch leite und die 2020 bereits den 6. Leverkusener COPD-Tag veranstalten wird.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mein gr\u00f6\u00dfter Wunsch, seit dem Einsetzen der Ventile, war es den K\u00f6lner Dom zu besteigen. Dafu\u0308r trainierte ich regelm\u00e4\u00dfig, bis ich es 2015 schaffte: Einmal den K\u00f6lner Dom hoch und wieder runter. class=\"tb_text_wrap\">\n <h2>Vor dem Erhalt der Zephyr<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>-Ventile:<\/h2>\n<p>Vor dem Emphysem war ich immer sehr besch\u00e4ftigt und aktiv. Ich war in der Buchhaltung t\u00e4tig, zog zwei Kinder auf und ging mit meinem Mann gern auf Reisen. Zusammen mit einer gro\u00dfen Gruppe von Freunden mieteten wir jedes Jahr ein Hausboot auf dem See.<\/p>\n<p>Im Alter von 46 Jahren wurde bei mir w\u00e4hrend eines Screenings auf eine Autoimmunerkrankung ein Emphysem\/COPD diagnostiziert. Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich verschiedene Medikamente verwendet, um die Symptome zu kontrollieren, darunter Spiriva\u2122, Advair\u2122, Humira\u2122, Prednison, Methotrexat und einen Vernebler. 2012 hatte ich es endlich geschafft, endg\u00fcltig mit dem Rauchen aufzuh\u00f6ren, aber die Krankheit hatte bereits begonnen, sich auf mein Leben auszuwirken. Von 2008 bis 2014 war ich jedes Jahr im Krankenhaus. Ich musste Behindertenrente beantragen. 2014 wurde ich dreimal ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert, und bei einer dieser Episoden lief ich blau an, was meinen armen Mann zu Tode erschreckte! Ich wurde nicht intubiert, sondern an ein Trilogy-BiPAP-Beatmungsger\u00e4t angeschlossen. Es waren be\u00e4ngstigende Zeiten f\u00fcr meine Familie und mich.<\/p>\n<p>Im Laufe der Jahre wurden selbst einfachste T\u00e4tigkeiten zum Problem. Tags\u00fcber brauchte ich Sauerstoff, um irgendwohin zu gehen oder Hausarbeiten zu erledigen. Sogar Duschen war schwierig. Ich habe stark abgenommen, weil ich sehr niedergeschlagen war und keinen Appetit hatte. Ich machte mir die ganze Zeit Sorgen. Es ist schwer zu leben, wenn man nicht atmen kann.<\/p>\n<p>Auch f\u00fcr meine Familie war es schwer. Die Kinder mussten zusehen, wie es mir immer schlechter ging und wie ich immer wieder ins Krankenhaus musste. Mein Mann besa\u00df eine Heizungsfirma, musste diese aber letztendlich schlie\u00dfen und zu Hause bleiben, um sich um mich k\u00fcmmern zu k\u00f6nnen. Mit am schlimmsten war, wie sich die Krankheit auf mich als Mutter auswirkte. Es war schwer, nicht mehr an den Aktivit\u00e4ten meiner Kinder teilhaben zu k\u00f6nnen und besondere Momente zu verpassen. Wenn meine Tochter Makeup probieren oder mal etwas Lustiges mit ihrer Mutter unternehmen wollte, musste oft mein Mann einspringen.<\/p>\n<p>2015 schlug mein Lungenarzt vor, mich auf die Lungentransplantationsliste zu setzen. Ein Freund von mir hatte eine doppelte Lungentransplantation, und der Genesungsprozess war enorm anstrengend. Und auch wenn man das alles \u00fcberstanden hat, geben sie einem nur eine Lebenserwartung von ungef\u00e4hr f\u00fcnf Jahren. Ich lie\u00df mich dann wegen der Ventile nach Louisville \u00fcberweisen, obwohl sie sich damals noch in der Pr\u00fcfphase befanden. Ich blieb sechs Tage im Krankenhaus, aber insgesamt verlief der Eingriff v\u00f6llig reibungslos. Mit Sicherheit ist diese Behandlung sehr viel einfacher als eine Lungentransplantation!<\/p>\n<p>Das ist jetzt fast 2 Jahre her und mir geht es wunderbar. Ich mache wieder Hausarbeit und gehe sogar ins Fitnessstudio. Ich nehme mein Sauerstoffmessger\u00e4t und meinen Inhalator mit, nur f\u00fcr den Fall, dass ich ihn brauche, aber ich habe keine Angst mehr davor, aktiv zu sein. Ich habe das Gef\u00fchl, dass ich wieder selbst auf mich aufpassen kann. Dank der Zephyr-Ventile f\u00fchle ich mich wieder wie ein normaler Mensch!<\/p>\n<p>Nicht nur mir geht es besser, sondern auch die Belastung f\u00fcr meine Familie ist viel weniger geworden. Mein Mann arbeitet wieder, und die Kinder machen sich weniger Sorgen. Von August bis M\u00e4rz fahren wir zu allen Bowling-Turnieren meiner Tochter. Bevor ich die Ventile hatte, musste ich meinen Sauerstofftank mitnehmen und mir selbst gut zureden, um ein Turnier zu besuchen. Dort sind immer sehr viele Leute, und manchmal war es schwierig, einen Sitzplatz zu finden. Jetzt mache ich mir \u00fcberhaupt keine Sorgen mehr. Ich bringe nicht einmal Sauerstoff mit. Ich kann notfalls stehen und ohne Probleme zur Toilette gelangen.<\/p>\n<p>Ich habe immer noch ein Emphysem und nehme jeden Tag Medikamente, aber ich kann wieder mein Leben leben. Mein Ziel war es, mit meinem Mann Ausfl\u00fcge zu machen und mit meinen Kindern shoppen gehen zu k\u00f6nnen, und das und viel mehr kann ich jetzt!<\/p>\n<p>Ich verreise wieder. Mein Mann und ich gingen zum Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina, um eine Autoausstellung zu besuchen. Auf dem Weg dorthin sahen wir uns auch Helen in Georgia an. Dass ich diese Reise machen konnte, war ziemlich erstaunlich, weil es f\u00fcr mich, bevor ich die Ventile erhalten habe, bereits eine enorme Anstrengung war, zuhause von einem Zimmer in ein anderes zu gehen.
